  • Payroll Services Administrator

    Job Status: Full-Time, Exempt

    Location: St Cloud 

    Department: Payroll


    Summary: The Payroll Services Administrator is responsible for client onboarding and assisting with development of department policies and overall growth.  


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Assist with the day-to-day payroll department operations and staff training. 
    • Assist the Payroll Department Manager in ensuring payroll policies are in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Act as co-lead and trainer for implementation of software updates. Troubleshoot issues and errors and act as contact for support.
    • Act as an extension of payroll team by assisting with the quoting process and marketing communications.
    • Provide full-circle client onboarding and offboarding, including generating new client contracts, preparing paperwork, and completing set-up in payroll software systems.
    • Act as client liaison for payroll logins, processes, policies, and general access information.
    • Serve as main point of contact for SwipeClock client integration including training on payroll submissions, timekeeping, and HR Management software.
    • Assist with client billing, reporting, and price updates.
    • Serve as back up for processing of client payrolls including quarterly and year-end reporting.
    • Maintain composure when faced with difficult situations and personalities.
    • Assume responsibility and accountability for assignments and tasks.
    • Assist the Payroll Department Manager with any additional requests as needed; other duties may be assigned.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university.
    • Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is desirable.
